Liz Whalen
Liz is a dedicated legal assistant born and raised in Rhode Island. She graduated from Rhode Island College in the Spring of 2024 with a B.A. in Justice Studies and Political Science, along with a minor in Sociology. Her academic journey was marked by a commitment to understanding the legal system and its impact on individuals. After a rewarding internship in the Civil Rights Department at the Regional Transportation District of Denver, she relocated to Denver to pursue a career in the legal field.
During her senior year, Liz authored an honors thesis examining the correlation between judicial independence and perceptions of corruption and governmental accountability. This research honed her analytical skills and deepened her interest in how legal frameworks can support justice for individuals.
Currently, Liz is gaining valuable experience at Bowman Law, where she is preparing to apply to law school. Her work allows her to delve into various aspects of personal injury law, aligning with her aspiration to become a lawyer committed to advocacy and justice. She believes that understanding the intricacies of personal injury cases will equip her to better serve those in need and make a meaningful impact in their lives.
Liz strives to spread kindness, empathy, and reliability to everyone she meets.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Liz enjoys playing rugby, weightlifting, and traveling.
